Hyndsight Vision Systems’ Journey, a transformative new rear view camera and monitor system specifically designed for the boating industry, has just been named to Boating Industry’s third annual top Product list. In the May issue of the magazine, the editors selected the 50 best boating products of the year. The selections were chosen from hundreds of products introducedor significantly updated since the beginning of 2015. The honorees were selected for their innovation, impact on the industry, creativity and other criteria.

"This year's selections were chosen from hundreds of products introduced or significantly updated since the beginning of 2015," said Boating Industry editor in chief Jonathan Sweet. "These products were selected for their innovation, their impact on the industry, creativity and more."

Hyndsight’s Journey is a totally portable, wire-free rear view system that can be mounted within seconds on any type of power or sail boat, providing real-time video as a way to maintain safety on the water. Journey is designed for the harsh boating environment and is rugged, weather resistant and provides a video stream through a direct connection (camera to monitor), offering the boat owner a clear image that can transmit up to one-third of a mile with direct line of sight. With a sun-light readable screen, both the camera and monitor are submersible and buoyant and fit neatly, along with custom mountable accessories, into a rugged carrying case.

“We’re exceptionally honored to have one of the industry’s most respected marine magazine endorse and recommend Journey for boaters,” notes Melissa Thompson, CEO of Hyndsight. “Journey is the perfect safety accessory for any size boat. Many power boaters use Journey to view skiers or wake boarders in tow. If you are trailering, the monitor can be mounted on your car dashboard for viewing your boat while you’re traveling. And for the boat yard professional, it can be used for dry storage operations to avoid damaging boats.”

Boating Industry magazine is 86 years old and is published monthly reaching all sectors of the marine trade industry, including dealers, marinas, boat yards, boat builders, manufacturers, marine retailers and suppliers. It has a circulation of 60,000 readers.
